Tesla Model 3 is a magnificent and popular electric car. It features sporty shapes and is considered a masterpiece of automotive design. Despite its successful design, there are many details in the Model 3 that can be visually enhanced and accentuated, while also providing protection against mechanical and chemical damage.
When it comes to paintwork and details, wrapping is the most popular way to style a car because it is fast, cost-effective, durable, and can be easily removed and replaced if desired.

Full Wrap
A full wrap provides comprehensive protection for the entire car cost-effectively. There are dozens of different colors available to suit every taste.
For example, 3M Satin Dark Grey was one of the most popular and sexiest colors from 2019 to 2021, and its popularity shows no signs of waning.
Satin finishes are highly popular due to their ease of maintenance and their ability to accentuate the car’s shapes. It’s widely known that when you place two identical cars side by side—one with a matte/satin finish and the other with the original glossy finish—the glossy one doesn’t showcase the shapes, contours, lines, and curves as clearly.
Because of this, when customers opt for car wrapping, they usually choose a satin or matte finish.
Chameleon-colored wraps never fail to impress, providing a vibrant range of colors that change depending on the viewing angle. Avery Dennison’s ColorFlow series offers chameleon wraps in both Satin and Gloss variations.
The popularity of traditional matte black has shifted towards Satin Black. Satin Black is a stunning shade; understated, attention-grabbing, sporty, and hot.
Bright, standout colors also work exceptionally well. Having this type of wrap often garners compliments and positive attention from passersby.
3M Matte Orange Tesla Model 3
The prices of over-taping for Model 3 start from €2,890 for the basic color. Chameleon colors from €3490. Chrome from €4990.
If the car’s original color is white and the car is taped in a contrasting color, there will be a “white car taping supplement” of €350.
Example situation: a white car is taped in any color other than white or light. Taping to hide white color requires more working hours than dark surfaces. When the doors are closed, the white door gaps/gaps shine delicately through, vs the dark original colors.
Over-taping is a significantly more affordable solution than PPF, but at the same time it is not as effective in preventing stone impacts from the most sensitive places, such as the bow. In practice, they are two different categories of tapes that cannot be compared to each other.
The thickness of over taping tape is on average 100µm and the thickness of ppf tape is 200 µm. The tapes are the thickest in the chrome series: 130 µm, and the PPF film is available in the thickest 300 µm.
Over taping prevents scratches and stone impacts for the most part, and makes it possible to easily change the color.
If you bought, for example, a white car and you want it to be orange or black, you can do it specifically with over-taping.
When a white car is taped in a contrasting color, it is recommended to also install a PPF protective film over the bow and hem tapes, to avoid visible stone chips. If the taping has a satin surface, a satin PPF film is used. If the taping has a shiny surface, a shiny PPF protective film is used.

Tesla Chrome Delete
The two most popular materials for chrome deletion are satin and glossy black.
Chromedelete refers to the process of wrapping chrome parts in black. The most common is definitely glossy black, also known as GlossBlack.
Chromedelete provides a sporty appearance and protects the original chrome window and logo trims from wear.
When installing chromedelete on side mirrors, it’s important to be careful: If you have the “AutoFold” function activated, the mirrors may rub against the wrap when folding. We’ve seen some Tesla Model S, Model 3, and Model X vehicles where the original chrome has developed rough and visible large abrasions. This is due to the tight gap between the mirror and its base, allowing a lot of sand to enter. Chromedelete prevents scratching of the chrome by absorbing the friction itself and not letting it reach the chrome surface. Regular washing helps prevent scratching.
After chromedelete, the original chrome is not visible even when the mirror is folded.

The price for full chromedelete for models 2019 – 2021 is €679.
This includes all chrome parts: window trims, mirror bases, door handles, side camera/turn signal trims, front logo & rear logo.
The price for chromedelete for models 2021 – 2023 is €138. In the new models, only the front and rear logos come chromed from the factory; the other parts are already painted matte black.

Window Tinting for Tesla

The most popular tint combination we’ve applied to over 650 Tesla Model 3s is: rear window 15%, rear side windows 25%, front doors 35%, and windshield 50%/70%.
Front door windows are tinted for aesthetic purposes to avoid a shade difference between the tinted rear windows and the untinted front door windows. Tinting the front and rear lights enhances the appearance of the car and provides protection. Nowadays, the highest quality material for light tinting in our industry is tinted PPF film, thanks to its unbeatable smooth surface and high-gloss finish. There are three options for darkness: Light, Middle Dark, and Dark.
In the case of front lights, the Light version is mostly used to avoid significant loss of light intensity.
For taillights, the MiddleDark film is predominantly used as a darker shade may not look as appealing.

Pillar Delete
The increasingly popular upper part wrapping, known as “Pillar Delete,” is an effective styling solution.
It includes wrapping the arch trims above the windows, along with the additional pieces at the front next to the hood and at the back near the rear window. These additions give the car a refined look and appeal to many.
Pillar Delete has been done for all Tesla models, including Model S and Model Y. The price for Pillar Delete on Model 3 is €399.
Mirror Wrapping
Mirror wrapping not only protects the plastic covers of the mirrors from stone chips but also gives a stylish finished look, especially suitable for cars that have undergone window tinting and/or Pillar Delete.
The price for teaping each side mirror is 129 €.
The most commonly used are Gloss Black and Satin Black tapes.
Interior Teaping
Inside, the latest models feature wooden panels, which some may not prefer. These panels can be taped to match the interior colors or the paint surface.
Teaping the horizontal trim behind the interior screen costs 169 €. The side door extensions cost a total of 99 €.
In older models, the center console is originally glossy black and tends to collect dust and get scratched easily. Teaping the center console is done to match the interior color, which balances the color scheme inside the car. The cost of teaping the center console is 149 €.

Tesla PPF
Traditional transparent protective film, known as PPF (Paint Protection Film), has been manufactured for ages in glossy and matte versions.
PPF materials have been evolving diligently this (2022) year, introducing colored PPF films to the industry. These films are no longer transparent like before; instead, they cover the original paint surface just like yliteippaus film, providing a thicker and thus more effective protective layer for the paint. The advantage of PPF films over yliteippaus films is that they are not textured like traditional yliteippaus films often are, especially in glossy versions.
